How to stop sharp objects from rolling off your table.
Pens don't roll off desks, dangerous items such as scalpels, sharp pencils and other round items such as paintbrushes and knitting needs do and seem to head straight for my feet on a regular basis! What to do? Minimolding comes to the rescue again.
All you have to do is place a stick of Minimolding in hot water for 3 minutes, dry it, then wrap it around the end of your scalpel . Press down onto the table to make it flat on one side.
Trim, allow to cool for a couple of minutes and your toes are safe! It will not roll and it's non-slip as well.
Pens don't roll off the table because they have a pocket clip attached usually to a cap or the top of the pen. My work table seems to have a downward slope towards me no matter what side of the table I sit. I often wonder if there are magnets under the floor that I don't know about! Yes, it gives me a lot of exercise bending down or crawling under the table, but I feel I can just as easily exercise in other ways thank you!
I looked at the problem and realised the answer was right under my nose - Minimolding is not just a pretty mould making product, but also very good for practical uses as well. I placed it in hot water, waited for 3 minutes and took it out of the wage with a chopstick. Once it was quickly dried on a towel, I wrapped it around the end of my scalpel, then pressed it onto the table. Just to make it look neat, i trimmed it with a pair of scissors and waited for it to cool down.
Now my problems in that department are a thing of the past. No more crawling under the table to fetch a pencil or paintbrush. No more jumping in case my foot get stabbed ( and it has happened before). Now when I put my scalpel on the table, it stays right there.
Thank you Minimolding. Not just a pretty face.
